Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants to vote on the GOP’s healthcare bill by the end of this week. Indivisible has identified senators in 10 states who are most likely to be swayed. We should *all* call our senators to block this terrible bill, which guts Medicaid among other things, but those of us who live in the following 10 states really need to turn up the heat: Alaska, West Virginia, Maine, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Arkansas.

The Senate rolled out its latest assault on our health care on Thursday, and it is a disaster. It’s going to stop millions of people from being able to afford insurance and dramatically cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans. Many of us live in states with two Democratic senators (and others have already called our Republican senators so many times they recognize our numbers!), so here are a list of actions we can take to move Republican votes from blue states (and red ones, too).

With the text of the health care bill having been released and the cuts to Medicaid going even deeper than the House version, we have our work cut out for us. What we want now is to delay this vote until after the July 4th recess. This will force representatives to have to meet with their constituents and hear, in person, how these cuts will affect them.

Call your senators, Reports say that call numbers are low – please call. Then call again.
Every day, make at least one call.
