This bill may have passed the House but the fight to protect the Affordable Care Act isn’t over. The House is home for recess again, which means it’s time to flood the town hall meetings, mailboxes, and voicemails of your elected officials to hold them accountable for this vote. Here’s what you can do:
- Find an event near you at ResistanceNearMe.org. From rallies to town halls, there are hundreds of events happening across the country.
- Go to the newly-revamped TrumpcareToolkit.org to find all the tools you need to hold the House members who voted for the bill accountable and let the Senate know we’re watching.
- Check and see whether your representative voted for the bill here. If they did, send them an email with the subject line “Shame on you!” explaining why you’re disappointed with their vote.
